This framework outlines the complete learner journey at SBLA — from initial application to successful online program completion. Our process is transparent, supportive, and designed to ensure a smooth experience for every learner.

1. Pre-Admission Stage
a) Submit Application Documents

Learners begin by completing the online application form and submitting the required documents, such as:

  • Application / Nomination / Scholarship Form
  • CV (Lebenslauf)
  • Identification document
  • Recent photograph
  • Relevant educational or professional certificates
b) Eligibility Review

Our admissions team reviews the submitted information to ensure the applicant meets the basic entry guidelines.

c) Provisional Admission

If the application is approved, the learner receives a Provisional Admission Letter outlining the next steps.

2. Post-Admission Stage
a) Registration Confirmation

Learners receive updates and reminders to complete any remaining registration details.

b) Official Admission Communication

Once fully registered, the learner receives:

  • Official Admission Confirmation
  • Support contact details
  • Login credentials for the SBLA online learning platform
  • Digital student identification number
c) Enrollment Certificate

A Certificate of Enrollment/Membership is issued once registration is complete.

d) Student Handbook

Learners receive a digital handbook that explains SBLA policies, learning guidelines, support procedures, and platform usage.

3. Learning & Engagement Phase

Throughout the program, learners are expected to:

  • Participate regularly in online sessions and activities
  • Complete assignments and tasks
  • Adhere to timelines and guidelines
  • Maintain professional communication within the learning environment

Progress is tracked through the online platform to support a structured and transparent learning experience.

4. Completion Stage
a) Learning Summary / Performance Report

After finishing all modules, learners receive a summary of their performance.

b) Recognition of Achievement

Learners who demonstrate exceptional engagement or performance may receive a Certificate of Excellence (optional).

c) Completion Letter

A Provisional Completion Letter may be provided upon request for employment or professional purposes.

5. Certification Issuance

To receive the final program certificate, learners must:

  • Complete all course modules and assignments
  • Fulfill engagement and participation requirements
  • Clear any pending administrative obligations
  • Achieve the minimum required performance score

Once verified, the Final Certificate is issued digitally.

6. Alumni Acknowledgment

Selected learners who demonstrate outstanding contribution or performance may be featured on the SBLA Alumni Showcase as recognition of their achievements.

Appeals Process

Learners may appeal decisions regarding progress, suspension, or dismissal by submitting a written request to the President. Appeals are reviewed carefully, and a decision is provided within five working days.
